LM1440
The LM1440 offers an additional metre of lift and reach over its smaller stable mate, the LM1340, and able to raise 3 tonnes to a height of 13.55 m, or 1.35 tonnes to its forward, maximum reach of 9.33 m. All LM models are powered by an 88 kW diesel engine which complies with European Tier 2 emissions legislation. This fuel-efficient power source drives through a full powershift transmission featuring four forward and three reverse gears, with a maximum speed of 35 km/h. For maximum versatility, a wide range of attachments is offered for all LM models, including buckets, pallet forks, crane jibs, timber grapples, hydraulic winches and a concrete mixer, with a choice of mechanical or, optional, hydraulic quick couplers.
Best-in-Class Lift Capacity
- The latest, LM models offer an industry-beating, maximum lift capacity of up to 4000 kg
Reaching New Heights
- Impressive lift height of almost 14 metres. Strong boom construction, with excellent overlap between telescopic sections, ensures good load distribution and reduces stress whilst extending component life
Best-in-Class Visibility
- Low boom position and spacious, expansively glazed cab, provide best-in-class, all-round operator visibility and a low centre of gravity for excellent machine stability and safe operation
Outstanding Manoeuvrability
- Three steering modes - 2-wheel, 4-wheel and crab steer - provide excellent manoeuvrability and a tight turning radius of only 3.89 m, reducing cycle times and enabling these machines to work even in confined spaces
Best-in-Class Stability
- Alternative stabiliser systems and hydraulic frame levelling combine with an audible and visual operator warning system to ensure safe placement of heavy loads at full height or reach
Wide, Spacious Cab
- Provides the ultimate in comfort and functional control, minimising operator fatigue for productive operation
